“Together” was first performed at Festival & Friends in July 2021 by Jonas Frølund, basset clarinet; Kaya Kato Møller, violin; Daniel Sledzinski, viola; and Signe Ebstrup Bitsch, cello.

The pieces “Alone”, “Together” and “Apart” were written as companion pieces. The solo basset clarinet plays “Alone”. In “Together” three strings are added and the piece is expanded. In “Apart” the clarinet is gone, a fourth string is added, and the ‘holes’ left by the clarinet have been filled up with new material, and the musical time has been stretched and changed.
