“Månekoncert” (“Moon concert”) was first performed at Spor festival i September 2020 by Lea Quortrup, soprano; Hanne Marie Le Fevre, mezzo soprano; Stephen George Yeseta, counter tenor; Frederik Paevatalu Rolin, baryton; and Jónas Ásgeir Ásgeirsson, accordion.

A larger version of the idea is planned to be written for Spor festival 2023. This piece will have a bigger ensemble and include more elements of sleep/ sleeplessness.

The piece was commissioned by Spor festival with support from KODA Kultur.
